As seen in my previous Thursday Treats post, Mister & I loved our weekend away in Opononi. So, we had to go again for Labour Weekend. We rented a holiday house and woke up each morning to a breathtakingly beautiful view.
Craft & Vintage stores are a favourite of mine to venture into. Mister & I checked out Morrell’s Cafe Crafts & Gifts in Waimamaku. I fell in love with a Vintage Mohair Feel Throw and just had to get it, and it’s green my favourite colour. I’ll be using this to add colourful delight to the Rattan Furniture Mister & I picked up this week.
I enjoyed celebrating my birthday at Cornwall Park with my family. Elijah slept the whole time as we ate Marble Mudcake & yummy picnic delights.

I captured this moment as I admired this elderly man mowing his lawn. It made me think of how grateful I am to have such good men in my life.
My father migrated to New Zealand with my mother and I from Samoa. For over twenty years he has worked hard to provide for his family and has done his best to raise my brother, sister and I in a loving environment. Dad’s giving and humble heart is such a blessing to many.
My brother is a loving and genuine person. I have always had a soft spot for my brother. Always there for me, he makes me laugh and his love has no bounds. I am so grateful for him. I have the most beautiful nephew because of my brother.
Mister loves me unconditionally. A wonderful man and great provider who does not ever complain. He always finds ways just to make me smile. I admire his hard work ethic, everything he does is for us. He takes me out on coffee dates, cooks lovely meals for me, plays my silly games and believes in my ability to flourish and accomplish my dreams. He makes me feel so loved. Mister is the reason I wake each day with a grateful heart.
I am so grateful to have such strong and loving men in my life.
